YA at The NAMM Show

Young Audiences Arts for Learning (YA) was at The NAMM Show, Jan. 25-28, 2024, in Anaheim, California. This marks the sixth year of YA's leading The NAMM Foundation's Nonprofit Management Institute, held annually at The NAMM Show.

The Nonprofit Management Institute (NMI) provides organizations the resources they need to grow and succeed while expanding equity and access to music making. NMI offers sessions covering best practices, fundraising, governance, and more, geared toward Foundation partners, grantee organizations, and music and arts education nonprofits. This year, the institute drew in over 900 participants.

YA National Executive Director David A. Dik presented the following NMI sessions:

  • Activate Your Board With This One Weird Trick!

  • Public Education Funding for YOU and ALL Students

  • Building Community Through Creating and Supporting Nonprofit Music Service Organizations

  • Developing Organizational Relevance Through Inclusive, Empathic, and Responsive Leadership
